FLAGLER PALM COAST HIGH SCHOOL

As part of an Architectural & Engineering Continuing Services Contract with Flagler County Public Schools, GM HILL provided structural engineering services and construction administration for re-roofing of the gymnasium and auditorium at Flagler Palm Coast High School. Structural engineering services included an evaluation of the roof deck and uplift pressures, and associated wind load calculations. Structural design also included  detailed mechanical rooftop hold down supports to the existing structures. New light-weight insulating concrete replaced the areas of the existing building which were originally constructed with a similar light-weight insulating concrete fill.
