SLOPE REMEDIATION AND REPAIR AT JOB CORPS CENTER

GM HILL provided 100% Design Project Management, Structural Design, project QA/QC, cost estimating, and Construction Services for this Design-Build project. GM HILL also provided full construction services for the project. The initial phase of the project included a site study on the campus of the Job Corps Center to evaluate and develop corrective measures of two slope failures. Additional evaluations conducted were for the functionality of the stormwater management systems, stormwater collection system integrity, which included visual inspection using remote closed-circuit television; related erosion, sinkholes, and deterioration of the affected slope.
