As part of a three-year Architectural Engineering Continuing Services Contract for Minor Projects, G.M. Hill provides structural engineering services for the University of North Florida. A minor project consists of a repair, alteration, or new construction project with fees not to exceed $ 2 million. Typical project types include the following services: investigations and studies, repairs and renovations to multiple facilities, including classroom buildings, auditoriums, parking garages, and administration offices.

Repair details for spalls or loose concrete at stairs, columns, elevated slabs, walls, and slab on grade; Re-tension barrier cables or replace where cables are missing; Patching of concrete where exposed steel reinforcement at stairs, concrete columns; Epoxy injection at columns, slabs, and walls; and repairs for light pole base plates. Additional structural engineering services provided outside the continuing services contract included structural engineer of record for the UNF University Center and the UNF Performing Arts Center, Engineering, Hoyt Golf Teaching/Training Academy, and the Science and Engineering Building. G.M. Hill also provided the Construction Administration with the review of structural submittals: concrete, structural steel, steel bar joist, metal deck, concrete masonry, and reinforcing steel.
