New Security Entrance

The US Environmental Protection Agency retained GMHILL as the Prime Design-Build Contractor for the renovation, alteration, demolition, and repair of a two-phased project requiring the demolition of an existing security entrance, guard booth, and associated roadway and providing new facilities and related utilities at the Environmental Protection Agency operations center located in Edison, New Jersey.  The design-build project involved a multi-disciplined design team in which GMHILL Architects and Engineers led the design efforts and design coordination with the GMHILL construction team for the new security entrance building, guard house booth, realignment of roadway, creating new parking areas for visitors and staff, all new curb and gutter and relocation of a well as all rerouting all existing electrical communications and security systems.
