GMHILL served as the Prime Design-Build Contractor for hurricane repairs at 50 sites in Everglades National Park, including historic buildings. The work involved interior and exterior renovations, electrical upgrades, and various repairs like roofing, plumbing, and fencing.

The team coordinated with the National Park Service (NPS) to enhance storm resilience while preserving historic features. Major upgrades included transitioning to underground electrical services at Flamingo and improving lighting and plumbing systems.

General repairs consisted of sealing conduits, replacing insulation, and installing GFCI outlets. This project ensures the facilities are hurricane-resistant and provides enhanced amenities for park staff and visitors.
