REDDY BUFFALO PUMPS 5-STORY OFFICE BUILDING

GM HILL provided structural engineering and construction administration services for this five-story 43,000-square-foot office building. The design included a combination of steel framed and load-bearing concrete masonry construction with the exterior envelope consisting of curtain wall and metal panels. The foundations were designed as auger-cast concrete piles embedded approximately 45 feet below existing grade to bridge over unsuitable soils. Along the curtain wall, horizontal sunshades were provided on each floor to minimize heat gain and provide a more sustainable architectural response to energy efficiency.
